Description of the Spacewatch 0.9m Mosaic Camera Survey bundle V1.0 =================================================================== Bundle Generation Date: 2021-06-25 Peer Review: 2019 Asteroid Review Discipline node: Small Bodies Node Content description for the Spacewatch 0.9m Mosaic Camera Survey bundle ======================================================================= The Spacewatch 0.9m Mosaic Camera Survey package contains data and documentation covering the survey between 2003 and 2016. The goal of the survey was to discover near-Earth asteroids by observing regions of the sky near the ecliptic and often near opposition. The survey was conducted using the Spacewatch mosaic camera, commissioned in 2002, and the Steward Observatory 0.9m telescope on Kitt Peak in the Tohono O'odham Nation. The package contains documents describing the survey, the data structure and file naming convention, the data processing, examples of the known data issues, the night logs, the mosaic camera, the telescope, and the history of Spacewatch. The filenames are as follows. spacewatch_09m_mosaic_camera_survey.pdf spacewatch_data_structure_and_naming_convention.pdf spacewatch_data_reprocessing.pdf known_data_issue_examples.pdf night_logs_2003mar-2016mar.txt spacewatch_09m_mosaic_camera.pdf spacewatch_steward_observatory_09m_telescope.pdf spacewatch_history_highlights.pdf ATTRIBUTIONS: The survey was designed by Robert S. McMillan, Jeffrey A. Larsen, Anne S. Descour, and James V. Scotti. The software used during the survey was written, maintained, and revised by Jeffrey A. Larsen, Marcus L. Perry, Andrew F. Tubbiolo, Michael T. Read, Kim C. Cochran, Anne S. Descour, Terrence H. Bressi. The observers during the survey, in alphabetical order, were Miwa Block, Terrence H. Bressi, Kim C. Cochran, Nichole M.
