Maps completed on 02/25/2020 by H. Kaplan Data provided by V. Hamilton ------------------------------------ Data: OTES data for Recon A data with fill factor = 1 and no phase inversion. The spectral data used are the multiple temperature-fit emissivities (mt_emissivity). Product definitions are as follows: Ratio1000: The "1000-800 cm-1" slope, defined as the average emissivity of OTES (level 3 x-axis) channels [113:115] divided by the average of channels [93:95]. BD440: Band depth at ~440 cm-1, defined as the average emissivity of OTES channels [60:62] plus the average emissivity of OTES channels [43:45] divided by two, divided by the average emissivity in channels [50:51]. BD350: Band depth at ~350 cm-1, defined as the average emissivity of OTES channels [34:35] plus the average emissivity of OTES channels [44:45] divided by two, divided by the average emissivity in channels [40:41]. NOTE: This value can be strongly affected by the mean emission angle of the observation - use with great caution, especially at high latitudes. Error values for the individual input spectral index values are calculated as the standard error at each spectral average location, propagated according to the math of the final spectral index. ------------------------------------ Maps: made with 800k spc v42 shape model (g_01600mm_spc_obj_0000n00000_v042.obj) in MakeMaps. Data are combined on facets with weighted average. Getspots file was made with metakernel from 11/15/2019. These maps include spectral data from Nightingale and Osprey as well as other locations observed during Recon B. ------------------------------------ Limitations and caveats: The suggested color stretch for these maps is mean +/- 2 standard deviations.
