Document Collection Contents

The document collection contains documentation files, where available, for 
this bundle. All document files will have an accompanying label file to 
describe content and structure.  Label files have the same name as the main 
document file, with an extension of ".xml".

adr4flags.asc - STATUS FLAGS - FULL TABLE - For each detection listed in the Sloan  
        Digital Sky Survey Moving Object Catalog, Data Release 4              
        (sdssmocadr4.tab), this file lists the 64 binary status flags         
        indicating the status of each detection, warning of possible problems 
        with the image itself, and warning of possible problems in the        
        measurement of various quantities associated with the detection.  The 
        identification of each status flag by name is given in the file       
        flagslist.asc, and a detailed description of the meaning of each flag 
        is given in the file flags_detail.asc.  The first column in each line 
        gives the unique SDSS moving object catalog ID (SMOC_ID) which is also
        the first column in the data file sdssmocadr4.tab.

flags_detail.asc - STATUS FLAGS - DETAILED DESCRIPTION - This file gives a detailed description  
        of the meaning of the 64 binary status flags pertaining to the Sloan  
        Digital Sky Survey Moving Object Catalog.  The values of these flags  
        for each detection listed in the data file can be found in the file   
        adr4flags.asc, and the identification of the flags by column number   
        can be found in flagslist.asc.                                        
                                                                              
        This file was originally downloaded June 29, 2004.  On July 26, 2010  
        it was revised only by updating the URL of the SDSS help desk.

flagslist.asc - STATUS FLAGS - IDENTIFICATION LIST - This file identifies by column number   
        each of the 64 binary status flags for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey   
        Moving Object Catalog.  A table listing the value of the status flags 
        for each detection in the data file is to be found in the file        
        adr4flags.asc.  A detailed description of the meaning of each of the  
        flags is to be found in flags_detail.asc.
