Document Collection Contents

The document collection contains documentation files, where available, for 
this bundle. All document files will have an accompanying label file to 
describe content and structure.  Label files have the same name as the main 
document file, with an extension of ".xml".

meteorite_fragments_before_and_after_100k_revolutions.pdf - Meteorite fragments before and after 100k revolutions - This PDF file contains the complete visual and quantitative dataset from the friability experiments conducted on seven meteorites: Richardton (H5), Tamdakht (H5), Zhob (H3/4), New Concord (L6), Allende (CV3), Murchison (CM2), and Aguas Zarcas (CM2). For each meteorite, the file includes photographs of the initial fragments before tumbling, images of the disaggregated materials after 10⁵ revolutions in the PTF-100 friability tester, and the results of sieve analysis showing the mass retained on each sieve size (2000, 841, 400, 250, 177, 125, 63, and 37 µm) along with the total mass of the tested fragments. These data collectively document the degree of mechanical breakdown and the redistribution of material across particle size bins, forming the archived record of the friability experiments for all seven meteorites.
