MOTHE-DINIZ ASTEROID DYNAMICAL FAMILIES
1.10.0.0
Product_Bundle
Mothe-Diniz, T.;Roig, F.;Carvano, J.M.
2012
This bundle contains an updated
compilation of asteroid families and clusters, resulting from the
application of the Hierarchical Clustering Method (HCM) on a set of
around 120,000 asteroids with available proper elements. Whenever
available, the classification in the Bus taxonomy is provided for
family members, based on spectra from the SMASS, SMASS2 and S3OS2
spectroscopic surveys.

Various Ground-Based Telescopes
Telescope
This instrument host is used for those datasets that consist of surveys taken,
usually over long periods of time, at various ground-based observatories. The
VARGBTEL host is used when it is not possible or practical to attempt to determine
which specific observatory and/or telescope was used for individual results reported.
Some additional more specific information may be available in the published
references cited in the corresponding data set description.
Various Ground-Based Detectors
Instrument
This instrument name is used when a data set consists of observations taken, usually
over a long period of time, by various types of detectors attached to one or more
ground-based telescopes. The VARGBDET identifier is used when it is not possible or
not practical to identify even the generic type of detector associated with the
individual observations comprising the data set. The published references listed in
the corresponding data set description may provide more information.
