For further information see [THOMASETAL1999]. (Thomas, et al. 1999, Icarus 140, 17.) This shape model consists of a grid with points every 3 degrees in latitude and longitude, with a radius in km associated with each point. Coordinate system is arbitrary since no rotation has been solved, and none observed during encounter. Coordinate axes were selected to be parallel to the J2000 coordinate system, thus the shape model equator is parallel to the earth's. The shape model is incomplete: not all areas were viewed due to the lack of rotation. For areas not imaged, the shape model contains the mean radius value (26.5 km). This does introduce some very jagged edges in the model. These are non-physical!!! Any users should be aware the model contains these artifacts.
