The FILE_SPECIFICATION_NAME, however, is accurate. -A.C.Raugh, 2011-06-27 __________________________________________ This directory contains the index tables, for this CDROM. The "INDEX.TAB" file lists all data files on the disk. This table represents the manifest index table required by PDS and is in delimited format, in which all columns are separated by commas and string fields are enclosed in double quotes (""). For each data file on the disk, this index lists the volume identifier, the path and file name, the data set identifier and the product creation time. (This file does not exist on volume 1, as there are no data files on volume 1.) The "IMGINDEX.TAB" file lists all image files on the disk. This table is in the delimited format required by PDS, in which all columns are separated by commas and string fields are enclosed in double quotes (""). For each image file on the disk, this table lists the volume identifier, the path and file name, the start time as a UTC string, the start time in spacecraft clock counts(MET), the sequence table identifier, the name of the sequence to which the image belongs, the commanded and telemetered filter number, the length and type of the exposure, the compression table identifier, the image mean and standard deviation, the maximum pixel value, the number of saturated pixels, the focal plane temperature, the telescope and DPU deck temperatures, the data quality identifier, the distance to the center of the target, the distance to the surface of the target, the incidence, emission and phase angles, the right ascension, declination and celestial north clock angle, the center latitude and longitude of the boresight, and the vertical and horizontal pixel scale. (This file does not exist on volume 1 as there are no images files on volume 1.) Each of these files has an associated PDS label file, which has the same basename as each of the files listed above but with the extension LBL. These files describe the contents of each of the columns in the respective tables. --------------- During the reorganization of the data set from the multiple DVD volume format to current single-volume form, these files were created and added to the data set: CHECKUM.LBL PDS label for CHECKSUM.TAB CHEKSUM.TAB MD5 checksums for every file in the data set except itself and CHECKSUM.LBL
