The DOCUMENT directory contains copies of documents that are necessary or     
useful for users to understand the archive data set. These documents are

VESTA_COORDINATES                                                             
The Vesta Coordinate Systems Description document. This document describes    
various Vesta coordinate systems which have been used in the literature and   
in Dawn mapping products.                                                     
                                                                              
                                                                              
SCIENCE_PLAN                                                                  
The Dawn Science Plan document. This document provides a description of the   
planned Dawn observations throughout the mission from launch through Vesta.   
It is provided as a source of information on the intent of the observations   
made by the instrument teams at Vesta. Note that not all of the planned       
observations actually occurred due to a variety of instrument resets and

SIS                                                                           
The Dawn Framing Camera Software Interface Specification (SIS). This document 
describes the FC2 raw and calibrated data sets rather than the camera products
included on this volume. The document is included on this volume because it   
contains a good discussion of the instrument and the science objectives of the

This file describes the VICAR header and PDS labels attached to the image
