The LADEE mission and spacecraft are described in the LADEE mission and spacecraft description documents, available in the document collection of the LADEE LDEX archive bundle. These data are generated by dust impacts on the LDEX detector. The LDEX detector is described in the LADEE LDEX Software Interface Specification (SIS), which is also available in the document collection. The LDEX detector and the calibration process are also described in greater detail in Horyani et al. (2014). Data Collection =============== These data are included in three different processing levels, reduced, calibrated, and derived. Raw data are the original data from the instrument. The polynomial conversions used to process the raw data into the reduced data archived here are given in the LDEX SIS which is available in the document collection. Calibrated data are reduced data converted to physical units entirely independent of the instrument. The calibration process is also described in the LDEX SIS. Caveats to the data user ======================== Uncertainties in the scientific quantities will be contained in the table specific to a particular quantity. These uncertainties are due to uncertainties in the calibration as noted, uncertainties in spacecraft state (which are derived from the SPICE kernels), and timing uncertainties. No problems are known to exist with the data.
